Polymer composition analysis

Polymer material: macromolecular material, a material based on polymer compounds. Polymer materials are composed of compounds with high molecular weight, including rubber, plastics, fibers, coatings, adhesives and polymer based composite materials. Polymer is the form of life. All living things can be regarded as a collection of polymers.            According to their characteristics, polymer materials are divided into rubber, fiber, plastic, polymer adhesive, polymer coating and polymer based composite materials.            Rubber is a kind of linear flexible polymer. It has the advantages of small secondary valence force, good flexibility and large deformation under the action of external force. There are natural rubber and synthetic rubber.            The polymer fiber is divided into natural fiber and chemical fiber. The former refers to silk, cotton, hemp, wool, etc. The latter is made from natural polymer or synthetic polymer by spinning and post-treatment. The fibers have large secondary force, small deformation ability and high modulus, and are generally crystalline polymers.            ③ plastic is made of synthetic resin or chemically modified natural polymer as the main component, and then added with fillers, plasticizers and other additives. Its intermolecular valence force, modulus and shape variable are between rubber and fiber. Generally, according to the characteristics of synthetic resin, it is divided into thermosetting plastics and thermoplastics; according to the purpose, it is divided into general plastics and engineering plastics.            ④ polymer adhesive is a kind of adhesive material which is mainly made of synthetic natural polymer compound. It can be divided into natural and synthetic adhesives. Synthetic adhesives are widely used.            ⑤ polymer coating is made by taking polymer as the main film-forming material, adding solvent and various additives. According to the different film-forming materials, it can be divided into grease coating, natural resin coating and synthetic resin coating. ⑥ polymer matrix composite is a kind of composite material which is based on polymer compound and added with various reinforcing materials. It integrates the performance characteristics of the original materials, and can be designed according to the needs of materials.
