The torsion test of wire rope is divided into two test methods: unidirectional torsion test and bidirectional torsion test.


Principle of unidirectional torsion test: the test rotates 360° uniformly in one direction around its own axis. As one twist to the specified number or test fracture.


Principle of bidirectional torsion test: the sample rotates uniformly in one direction around its own axis. As a week, after twisting to the specified number, rotate in the opposite direction to the specified number or sample fracture.
