       Winding test. Winding test is an experiment in which a wire sample is tightly wound on a mandell with a specified diameter in accordance with the relevant standards and a specified number of spirals. It is used to test the resistance of wire or wire to winding deformation, so as to show its surface defects or the binding strength of coating. During the winding test, the sample is wound on the core rod of diameter D with a tight coil along the thread direction. The dimensions of D are specified in the relevant technical conditions. Winding number is 5 ~ 10. Steel wire winding test is applicable to smooth and coated steel wire with diameter equal to or less than 1 mm. It can be divided into five test methods: self-winding, mandrel winding, winding winding, winding winding and winding stretching.
