Zinc-plating quantity is a commonly used and effective method to indicate the thickness of zinc layer on galvanized sheet. The unit of galvanized amount is g/m2, that is, the quality of galvanized layer per unit area. The zinc-plating layer on the known surface area was dissolved in the test solution with corrosion inhibition effect. The weight of the sample before and after the dissolution of the coating was measured. The weight of the zinc-plating layer per unit area was calculated according to the difference of the weight and the area of the sample.
