Hydrogen stripping test is to evaluate whether the stainless steel overlay on the base metal of the equipment has hydrogen stripping (HID) under the condition of high temperature and high pressure. Hydrogen stripping test parameters mainly include hydrogen pressure, holding temperature, holding time, cooling speed and cycle times. By simulating the special conditions in the actual working conditions, the test parameters are set. Hydrogenation reactor is the key equipment of petroleum refining, which works in high temperature, high pressure and hydrogen environment. After the hot wall hydrogenation reactor was used for a certain period of time, it was found that the local separation of the hardfacing layer with good combination with the main body occurred during manufacturing, which was called the peeling of the hardfacing layer. Hydrogen stripping of stainless steel hardfacing layer is an important problem that affects the safety of hydrogenation reactor. Gas phase hydrogen charging with autoclave is the main method for stripping test of hardfacing test block. It can be used to evaluate the metallographic nature of the anti stripping performance of hardfacing layer, and it is also a test method to study the anti stripping measures of stack welding layer.
