API 622-2011 type test for volatile leakage of valve packing in production process.            API 622 standard specifies the requirements for comparative test of valve stem packing used in production process, and volatile leakage is considered here. The packing shall be suitable for temperatures of - 29 to 538 ° C (- 20 to 1000 ° f). The factors considered in this standard that affect volatile leakage include temperature, pressure, thermal cycle, mechanical cycle and corrosion.
