Detection Purpose: The stress corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy was tested
Detection range: Aluminum, AlLi alloy, AlCu alloy, AlMg alloy, AlZnMg alloy and aluminum alloy plate, tube, rod, mold
Stress corrosion of aluminum alloy:
Stress corrosion cracking, as a form of local corrosion, refers to the destruction of metal materials under the joint action of tensile stress and specific medium.
Stress corrosion mechanism of aluminum alloy:
1. Anodic dissolution mechanism:
The basic view of anodic dissolution theory is that stress corrosion cracking is the result of rapid and continuous dissolution of the anode at the crack tip. The presence of stress accelerates the rate of anodic dissolution and promotes the separation of metals.
2. Hydrogen embrittlement mechanism
Hydrogen embrittlement mechanism holds that hydrogen is produced by cathode in corroded medium, and part of hydrogen diffuses into the metal, reducing the strength and toughness of the metal.
